Blenheim Palace opens its World Heritage Site Park to cyclists for the second time on Sunday 4th October 2009. Celebrating cycling in all its forms, Bike Blenheim Palace will include a 20km Time Trial, leisure rides, Sportif and provide the unique staging for the 2009 Brompton World Championship. Book entrance tickets (£8) online at http://www.bikeblenheimpalace.com/register.php Social day out with other cyclists hopefully with a sunny day. Tickets will be more expensive on the day. Food stalls were overun last year so a picnic might be a good idea. 25-30m each way pace set to suit the needs of the group, ie ride to the pace of the slowest rider. More the merrier |
