CTC Wantage AGMChris 07766 820555 Glenn 01235 768428
Please let either Glenn or Chris have nominations for committee members and any agenda items you'd like to see covered by Friday 26th September. You can offer yourself for election, or (with their permission) nominate another member for any of the following committee positions - all positions are up for re-election each year:

Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Welfare, Rides Secretary, Registration/ Membership, DA Representative, Publicity, Programme Editor, Ordinary Member.

It'd be great to see some of our many new members coming along to the AGM, and even volunteering to be part of the committee - new ideas and new approaches will help the club to grow, so please don't be backward about coming forwards!

We'll transact the normal business including reviewing the year and electing the committee for next year, but this year we have a number of motions that we need members to vote on, and they are all precipitated by the changes from the top of the CTC.

Formal business followed by a free finger buffet and social.

Easy-rider Saturday Ride from Grove Chris W 07766 820555
We'll be doing the route of the Tuesday evening "Fast and Furious" - a nice flat route out to Watchfield, and back to Grove for tea at the Cornerstone cafe - 46km or just shy of 30 miles. We'll not be doing a "fast and furious" pace though, just one that everyone is comfortable with! The route is here: http://bikeroutetoaster.com/Course.aspx?course=6038.

Lights may be required for the journey back from the tea stop if it's a dingy day!
